9/13-9/17 # 3

It was a dark mysterious night, and I was wandering outside. As I strolled around my backyard I noticed the winds building up, and the sky growing darker. All the clouds rolling in over the hills were extremely dark and about to let lose all the rain. But for some reason the rain never came. I found the weather and scenery to be very interesting and intriguing. So I went to the old tool shed in the corner of the yard and looked around. In the back of the shed I found a lawn chair. I picked it up, dragged it out to the center of the yard and sat down. After a few moments of relaxation and amusement the weather drastically changed. It didn't get worse it seemed to getter better. All of the wind seemed to diminish, but all the clouds continued to roll through. So I got out of the chair, walked to the edge of the yard, and looked out to the ocean. The water seemed to pulsate, and moved in and out. I started to get nervous and was worried of what's to come. Right as I started to put the chair away and head inside, the sky grew unbelievably dark. I turned around in fright and was petrified to find a two hundred foot tidal wave about to land right in my back yard. With not even a second to move, I was struck by the wave with such force it pulled me away to sea. All that remained of my house was the old lawn chair propped up in my backyard.
